China Doll Country
China Doll Country has its own style, its own great location just north of downtown Chicago, and its own way of making you want to return again and again. And as a complete home with more amenities than most hotels and bed-and-breakfasts, CDC is an economical way to treat yourself to the best while you’re traveling.
We’ve decorated each unit in a style reminiscent of a Chinese country estate. Every room is efficient but friendly, meticulously clean yet warm and inviting. The sunlit rooms have been carefully arranged by hostess Yanan Haring with radiant colors and tasteful artwork and crafts, to achieve the welcoming atmosphere of her favorite homes in her native China.
Country I
The soothing, blue walls and lively, bright wall decorations of the living room make this an ideal location for either entertainment or relaxation. We provide cable television, a stereo, and tea from the kitchen to help you with whichever you choose.
The furnishings are compact and functional without being plain, typical of the economical use of space that Chinese homemakers value.

Country II
You’ll feel comfortable and relaxed in the expansive layout of Country II. As a vacation rental home for tourists and those visiting guests, Country II provides a full-size kitchen with all of the necessary tools and space to enjoy yourself while you visit our great city.
Like many of the China Doll apartments, Country II also features a fully-furnished office area. Business travelers will find all of their needs met. A Dell desktop computer provides high speed internet, or you can connect your own laptop via wireless or by cable.

Country III
Country III is the newest apartment at 2640 North Burling. It was remodeled and redecorated in 2005. Its loft-type layout is a nice alternative to our other apartments. With unique architecture and a beautiful decor, Country III is a comfortable choice.
Along with its full-range of appliances and utensils, the kitchen also features a view of Chicago’s famous Hancock Building.
