Original I

Every China Doll apartment started as our own home, and China Doll I is still our main home today. That’s why you will feel at home, too. During busy times we gladly offer China Doll I to guests, at which time we move to our second home in the China Doll Country building. We are pleased to offer our favorite residence to guests for their enjoyment.

Original I is appointed with a solid-cherry dining room table, gas grill built into a full-height stone fireplace, eat-in kitchen and many other luxurious amenities. Select from the links below to learn more.

Original II

Original II is the larger of the three Original units. Among the many amenities of Original II are skylight in the master bedroom, a gourmet kitchen, private deck and jacuzzi.

With a fully furnished office, your business needs can be easily satisfied in Original II.

For our guests who enjoy the outdoors, we also offer a complimentary beach buggy and umbrella for your use on Chicago’s famous public beaches on Lake Michigan, just one mile from our building.

Original III

Original III is a favorite of guests for it’s customized furnishings and great use of space. Reminiscent of a Frank Lloyd Wright interior with a built-in kitchen table, transformable conference space and compartmentalized shelves, you truly have to experience staying here to appreciate it’s charm and comfort.

Luxurious amenities abound at Original III as well, with a jacuzzi hot tub, steam room and DVD library awaiting you. As with all China Doll apartments, coolers, chairs and umbrellas are available for your short trip to the beach at Lake Michigan.
